A Free Evening Of African Culture

Now, in collaboration with Just Buffalo, they are proud to present “Sankofa: an evening of African culture, past, present, and future.” The evening takes place on September 12th at 864 Delaware Avenue and is free and open to the public. It will feature music and dancing with food tickets available for purchase at the event.
The night will feature African drumming and dance by the Jama Jama Ensemble. Sharon Holley will conduct traditional African storytelling and poet James Cooper will give a contemporary African-American spoken word performance. The fun begins at 6:30 PM and lasts until 9 PM.
With the event being free to the public, it gives the WNY community a chance to learn about African culture. If you would like to learn more about this event or other events and programs at the International Institute, visit their website.

Staying true to their slogan “A Refreshing Text Book Experience,” Bucks4Books made it their mission …

The art center experience certainly lives up to all the hype that has …

This piece pushes stereotype to the max in a to …
