Two Races to Watch Tomorrow

Sitting on a sofa on a Sunday afternoon /
Going to the candidates debate /
Laugh about it, shout about it
/ When you've got to choose
/ Every way you look at it, you lose.

This is how a lot of people may feel, looking over the upcoming regional elections with its obvious slam-dunks or otherwise scant offerings of candidates.

Predict Bills - Texans Score, Win a Free Buffalo Rising Print
Fresh off a victory in Charlotte over Jake Delhomme (and the rest of the Panthers, I guess), the Bills will face the Houston Texans at Ralph Wilson Stadium.

Cross Border Twin Cities?

By Lorne Opler

The similarities are stark - both rust belt cities struggling to reinvent themselves in the 21st century.  Both were once upon a time strong manufacturing towns identified with heavy industry and a large blue collar workforce.  Both cities share glorious pasts, downtowns that were once teeming with people, and architecture that showed off the cities beautiful neighborhoods.

It's often a mystery how websites are run. Sites that appear to have a big staff with lots of content could be run by one guy in his basement in the middle of nowhere. There are also sites with sparse content run by huge staffs.

LittleSis.org - a national government transparency website that has garnered key media attention since its launch in January of this year - is based right here in Buffalo.
