Biography
I started painting and sketching as a child, I was especially drawn to nature and portraiture. Creating art is very therapeutic for me, my work involves the healing and renewing aspects of nature as well as the sense of place that we all share. I am especially fascinated with the reclaiming by nature of the materials that we choose to build with. Where I live in the Northeastern United States, there are many hulking, rusting monuments to another age that are being taken back by a force that never rests. My paintings, landscapes for the most part, are executed primarily in watercolor. They are based on my surroundings, near and far. Western New York, especially permeates the work with a sense of place.

Buffalo Big Print looks like a very nice venue, but it seems they only choose artists who spend a fortune getting their work framed or printed by BBP. The work has been first class, but many artists are shut out from inclusion in shows there due to…

How much for a Willett? But seriously folks, the opening was a great evening, great turnout, this could become the premier art event of the season for local artists. The work chosen for this show by the AK curatorial staff is quite impressive and t…

The scope and depth of Bill Herod's site is amazing! The images alone are worth a look, but is all woven wonderfully together by the story, which is very well written and thought out. TaskZeno may be headed for the big screen. As JAramini said, thi…
