    I thought the Neighborhood parade was supposed to promote ethnic pride. I was shocked and disappointed that drinking on floats was permitted. It is such a shame that this parade continues to feed the stereotypical view of St. Patrick's celebrations.

    Great to see small local organizations receiving assistance! They certainly help to maintain our traditions. Last year's Ball was super----from traditional Irish music and dance to a top notch showband--it had it all! Can't wait for October 13.
