huge fan of the great lakes - unbelievably beautiful and completely under appreciated - grew up swimming and lifeguarding on lake erie - college in the adirondacks at potsdam, traveled the country, alumni of UB graduate planning program, phd student in ecological restoration at UB live in the elmwood village - great example of a vibrant neighborhood with a strong local economy and good urban design
