Biography
Hello. I am very happy to be living back in Buffalo after 10 years in Chicago. I loved it there, but it wasn't home. I am involved with a block club, I pester elected officials, I know the majority of people on my street, and most of my neighbors care about their properties. There is a strong sense of kinship here in Buffalo like no place else that I know. I want to see Buffalo become the jewel it can be, and I'm willing to do whatever I can to see it happen.

Living next to a boarded-up house, I can tell you that even if the city offered to sell me this property for $1.00, I would decline it. Speaking ONLY about the house next door, it need a new roof, gutters, windows, and there is no plumbing in the b…

As a Mom of two young kids, I am against housing offenders together.Granted, there are different levels of sexual offenses, but any pedophile will tell you he/she WILL do it again. Student housing seems much more benign. Kudos to Ed Hogle for hav…

From what I remember, I think the original idea behind the light rail was because it's cheaper, we will be able to afford to expand it more readily than a full-fledged subway. (Please let me know if I'm making up my own history) There was a lot of …
