- Making the world a better place. Think Globally, act locally. I have local Bay Area commitments and national...but oddly, after all these years away, Buffalo still seems "local" to me, so it fits here. When I am visiting I try to check out things named in BRO, but time is short.

Yes, Carl, Issa has turned a tidy profit. But what does the 100+% increase in this sale price over last year's say about the downtown real estate market? Anything? What am I missing?

One curiosity: the appreciation on this parcel was more than 100% in slightly more than a year. What is that about in these "hard times?"
