The "Shutterbug Series" on the Buffalo Unscripted filming schedule will allow participants to access areas of historic properties that are normally off limits to the public.  Whether you are a professional photographer or just old building lovers with a point-and-shoot camera, the National Trust for Historic Preservation will be giving folks an opportunity to have their own "off limits" experiences inside some true Buffalo icons.

These two 1.5 year old sisters are bonded at the hip.  The have come to us together and they want to find a new home together.

The Merchant of Venice has been making the rounds.  Last year it was superstar Al Pacino as Shylock in the Public Theatre's production in Central Park (later transferred to a limited Broadway run) This year the Royal Shakespeare Company's production at Stratford-Upon-Avon features superstar  Patrick Stewart (Captain Picard to you Star Trek junkies).  And now in Delaware Park, Buffalo's own superstar,  Saul Elkin, takes on the troublesome role of Shylock in a wonderful, animated, and soulful production directed by Brian Cavanagh.

The  Inaugural Lord Bedlington Cup Football (Soccer) Match and cup presentation is tonight, June 29, at 6:30 p.m. The match will highlight the Bedlington football club's week long visit to Western New York, which also will include youth soccer clinics conducted by players from Bedlington and FC Buffalo earlier this week and with the Terriers and Niagara United in Niagara Falls, Canada on July 2.

Jerry Seinfeld performed stand up comedy Friday night, on stage at Shea's Buffalo Theater, entertaining the crowd as if he were one of Buffalo's very own.

Shades of Black!

Peaches (female), Pipper (female) and Piper (male) are all siblings who came to us with their mother from a home with too many kitties. 

A special art show, sponsored by Relevant Worship Ministries and Lafayette Church, will focus on four different under-appreciated artists, all of them local.  It's an outgrowth of Lafayette's new Sunday night service, which is attracting creative people with its' original music and improvisational style.

Suzie Hoisington, the show's organizer has worked with these artists for quite some time, but none of them have had the opportunity

The Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra has a full slate of concerts this summer season.  Many of the concerts are free starting with a 7 PM concert next Tuesday on Bidwell Parkway.  Other highlights include an appearance at the Ellicottville Summer Music Festival, a July 3rd concert at Coca-Cola Field with fireworks, three performances at ArtPark, an inner harbor concert, and appearances in Orchard Park, Cazanovia Park, M&T Plaza, Akron, Niagara Falls, Batavia and elsewhere.

The Taste of Buffalo presented by Tops Markets, the country's largest annual two-day food festival, is preparing for its 28th year of whetting the appetites and filling the stomachs of thousands of food loving attendees. The delectable event returns to downtown Buffalo along Delaware Avenue and Niagara Square on Saturday, July 9 and Sunday, July 10.
