Fab: An Intimate Life of Paul McCartney by Howard Sounes
Buffalo & Erie County Public Library Staff Review by MQ, Clarence:

If you are a die-hard Beatles fan, as I am, this is the book for you.  It took all of my renewals to get through this larger than 500-page tome...not because it was bad but because I didn't want to miss one word of what I was reading.  Some sections I read more than once and some I shared with my spouse.  It was funny, surprising and very revealing.  Paul McCartney doesn't keep anything a secret from his fans.

“A Loss of Gravity” Exhibit Opens at Blink Gallery
Tonight, Blink Gallery will experience "A Loss of Gravity" with the opening of Marissa Lehner's interactive art installation.

"This installation will deal with the inevitability of death and the personal toll it can take on a loved one," said Lehner. "With memory loss comes a nostalgia for the past, like trying to catch smoke in the air; with death comes an appreciation for life, and those who nurture it."

Lehner's exhibit will take elements from her last installation, "Ripe," and will develop a new focus.  She has

THE LIBATION BEARERS: ELECTRA: SCREW YOU MOM!
(DISCLAIMER - The reviewer here, me, is married to one of the cast members, Theresa DiMuro-Wilber.  But since most other reviewers in town don't review this scrappy little company of actors, The Brazen Faced Varlets, I've taken upon myself to write about their latest production.  I have, with great diligence, worked to remain objective.)

In the back room of Rust Belt Books, under some pretty ancient lights, and on a postage stamp sized stage, for the next couple of weeks, you will find empirical proof that the basic nature of mankind has not changed in three-thousand
