Guitarists Bill Abdale, Ryan McMullen and Chase Middaugh have played together in various incarnations over the past few years. Their current projects, Abdale's Black Centipede and Middaugh and McMullen's Novelist, are garnering praise on either side of the state. The idea for an all-guitar collaboration was birthed in the summer of 2006 while Abdale was back in Buffalo on a break from school. In the trio formation, employing an entire backline of full-stacks, the group explores a variety of sounds, from drone to angular post-rock and even the dry, haunting sounds of spaghetti westerns. A rare, unique event of sound and visuals. Not to be missed.
