After much deliberation, And a piqued interest in the community, I am putting a feeler out for anyone interested in taking a stand-up/improv comedy course in the city. the course will run for four weeks at Rust belt books, culminating in a performance show at Nietzsche's on the Tuesday following course completion.
My good friend Todd Benzin, (Improvisor, actor, skiffler extraordinaire) will be bringing his extensive Second City and Eclectic Co., experience to teach the basic of improvisation. I will be handling the Stand-up comedy portion of the class, bringing 5 years of experience and professional training in Toronto, as well as road time to the class. I'll make sure you know what to expect in the business of stand-up, on and off stage. The class will run for four weeks, tentatively Saturday afternoons, or Mondays (day or eve flexible).
