Three of the most interesting night spots in Buffalo are owned by the father-son team of Mark and Charlie Goldman. They are: The Allen Street Hardware Café, 245 Allen Street and The Third Room and La Luna, both located in The Calumet Building on Chippewa and Franklin Street...
ALLENTOWN HARDWARE:
Converted from a century old hardware store in Allentown, The Hardware Café has the look and feel of an East Village hangout and a Left Bank boite. Add to this some of the best food around, a wine and beer list as varied as any and unique top-shelf liquor, and you have the menu at Hardware. "Hardware" prides itself on its unique music program which is dedicated to authentic roots music. Every Wednesday at nine BABIK performs the Gypsy-Jazz music of Django Reinhardt. Thursdays at nine Doug Yeomans' group, Back to The Roots, performs the music of the American heartland. Hardware is open daily from 5pm.

THE THIRD ROOM:
The 3rd Room, at the forefront of all that is good about Chippewa Street since it was founded in 1990, has just been renovated. The Third Room prides itself on attracting to this most interesting street a varied and diverse clientele. It's warm, welcoming and it's hot and cool. Come sit in our new banquettes and look out at the great action happening on this busy and exciting street. Open Friday and Saturdays from 5pm.

LA LUNA:
Is it Old San Juan, Havana Vieja or South Beach? La Luna feels like them all. Buffalo's only Latin disco, La Luna is packed every weekend with people, Latinos and Gringos, who love to listen and dance to the best meringue, salsa and bachata west of the Hudson River. La Luna is "soave". It's "caliente". The crowd is unique and the beat is the best. Open Fridays and Saturdays from 6pm.
