If there isn't already one out there, can we get a list of wi-fi spots going? I wanted to grab lunch today and use the internet and I didn't really know where to go outside of a coffee shop, of which the lunch menus are typically minimal. And I didn't feel like walking up and down the street, laptop in hand, and begging for internet use. I tried Betty's since it is down the street from me and nothin'.

is there some sort of free wi-fi downtown actually? my phone is set to use wi-fi at home and i never turn it off when i leave and the other day it was briefly connected to one called buffalo wi-fi while i was downtown, i was in the car but i think it near niagara square
Look at my post, the Courts probably gave you wifi, in the sq there is Family Court, City court, County court, and City hall
If they offer free Wifi where you live you should be able to pick up their signal and get online free without paying any monthly fees.

I went down to check out the City Ship Canal and sure enough I had 2 bars of free wifi.
