Bring the family, bring your sunscreen and celebrate the 12th year of walks to benefit Hospice! It's perfect day for friends, family and loved ones to tour Buffalo’s scenic waterfront and historic downtown.
The 3-mile Hospice Memorial Walk will begin at Erie Basin Marina at 11AM and proceed through Buffalo’s historic waterfront district. A one-mile shortened version of the Walk has been mapped out for people with wheelchairs and baby strollers. Afterwards, Wegmans invites walkers to a picnic with games, prizes, face painting, a bounce house, sports team mascots and prizes!

Burmese refugees living in Buffalo are hosting this event to aid families, friends and countrymen in Burma suffering the effects of this disaster. Proceeds will go to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) to be used specifically for humanitarian aid for this tragedy.

Strictly Hip is North America's premier tribute to the music of The Tragically Hip. Since 1993, Strictly Hip has accurately reproduced the music of Canada's favorite band. Originally based in Canada, Strictly Hip has become one of the western New York regions favorite club, concert and event shows. Recognized by Buffalo Spree magazine's 'Best Of Buffalo' issue for the past two years and winners of multiple Buffalo music awards. Strictly Hip is the only band to headline the Friendship Festival on both sides of the border. With an all new lineup that has been touring America on a weekly basis, Strictly Hip returns in 2008 and celebrates the Canadian Victoria Day holiday weekend at The Tralf on Sunday May 18. Also appearing is the debut show of "Kings Of Gonzo", Buffalo's new 90's alt rock superheroes.

The Choir of Blessed Sacrament Church is an all-volunteer ensemble composed of members of the parish and other area music lovers. Its repertoire covers nine centuries of sacred music and nearly every style of western composition.
