Feel like a Shimmy? The Bellydance Academy will be hosting their second annual Studio Shimmy Showcase. This show will take place on Sunday, August 1, 2010 at The Brounshidle on Delaware Avenue in Kenmore NY. You can expect to see about twenty-seven dancers from The Bellydance Academy Shimmy & Shake to all sorts of Belly Dance music form traditional to modern and even a live band. All the performers are Dancers from The Bellydance Academy including Zuut & Fleuron Rouge. Both troupes have dancers in them that instruct at The Bellydance Academy. Fleuron Rouge will be showcasing all their current dancers. This will be Zuut's first local appearance since their recent performances in Ireland. The Bellydance Academy is located at 2938 Delaware Avenue, Kenmore, NY 14217. This is a place wear dancers and troupes can come and study/practice all forms of Belly Dance and Bollywood/Bhangra.
