On Saturday, July 24, 2010 at 1:00pm, Heart of the City Neighborhood's (HOCN) will be hosting "Development Day" on Whitney Place between Hudson and Maryland Street. Young Audiences WNY is teaming up with Explore & More Children's Museum for an afternoon of fun-filled creative projects for families.

The public is encouraged to attend the event, with guaranteed fun for all ages! Further, "Development Day" is a kickoff to the neighborhood housing revitalization that Heart of the City Neighborhoods is beginning this summer on 251 and 245 Whitney Place.

HOCN believes community support and involvement is crucial to succeed in neighborhood revitalization. With this event we are able to work with neighborhood volunteers to prepare the property for construction, and engage the community interest in beginning a block club.
