United Way invites feedback on funding priorities
The United Way of Buffalo & Erie County will be soliciting applications for program funding later this year. In preparation for this process, the organization is holding public information and comment sessions to provide the community with an opportunity to offer feedback on United Way's funding priorities within its focus areas of Education, Income, and Health and Wellness.
"As a community organization, it is incumbent on us to help donors and stakeholders more fully understand our funding process and priorities, and to seek input about those funding priorities," said Michael Weiner, United Way president. "These sessions are just one way we are fulfilling our commitment to be transparent in our investment process."
A total of six sessions will be held throughout March - two sessions for each of the organization's three focus areas. Interested persons may attend sessions for any or all three of the focus areas, but need only attend one session per area. - What:Open Platform Sessions
