5 – 7PM Art Activity: Make a Gift for Mom
5PM Mamapolooza - Celebrate “Moms that Rock” when Mamapolooza 2008 takes over the Albright-Knox. Hear mother musicians, artists, authors, and dancers perform everything from ‘Storytellers Theater’ to belly dancing. Performers for the festival include: Liz Abbott, the Beatchicks, Faaria, Noa Bursie, Kilissa Cissoko, Annette Daniels Taylor, Jennifer Elinge, Daughters of Creative Sound, Folkloric Productions, Barbara Levy-Daniels, Linda M, Wise Mecca, Vonetta T. Rhodes, Verniece Turner, and Lilliangina Quinones.
6PM Family Tour: Girls in the Gallery - Join us for a family tour of select female artists from our Permanent Collection currently on view in both Remix: Color and Light and Remix: Recent Acquisitions.
