Update: 141 Elm Street

http://archive.buffalorising.com/city/archives/upload/2006/02/hager-thumb.jpg It looks like owner Kevin Townsell will not be moving forward with a residential conversion of the Hager Lumber Building at 141 Elm Street.

The property, former home of the Spaghetti Warehouse, Your Father's Moustache, and several others bars and restaurants, has just been listed with CB Richard Ellis for sale or lease. The three-story, 1873 vintage building between William and Clinton was once a lumber mill operated by E.M. Hager & Sons. Townsell had been considering placing up to 32 residential units in the building that has been vacant since SensationZ closed in 2004.

The property is listed at $990,000 and according to the listing agent there have been 'numerous inquiries' since the property quietly came on the market two weeks ago. Full architectural plans were drawn for conversion to residential but the owner has decided to divest of the property for various reasons. Get Connected: Robert Roller, CB Richard Ellis- 855-3700
