This is not so much a news tip as it is an observation. It has to do with Buffalo's skyline. Here goes:
*Can we please get the twin lady liberties to shine brightly and evenly?
*We have a lovely electric tower in downtown Buffalo. Why do we need a holiday to bathe her in a multi-color glow, can't we do it on a regular basis?
*There are two grand pyramids atop the Key Bank Center that cast a modern vibe over the city with its gigantic neon green installation art. Why is it that only one of the pyramids is illuminated, and that the other has one of its main lighting bar apparatus' burned out that make up the pyramid?
The skyline looks so trashy when it COULD be looking SO beautiful, and be of inspiration to all of us city dwellers (and visitors). The disrepair and unkempt nature of the skyline represents a sort of neglect, and dare I say, signs of a medio-city if you will......... and it’s been this way for months! What's up? People that live in cities take pride in their skylines, I wish the people who are responsible for their building's crepuscular colorings would do the same. When you're up on your rooftop scoping the amazing panoramic fireworks displays this weekend, have a look around and tell me what you think.
Thanks for listening. Hopefully we can bring some attention and eventually change this scenario.
