Save The Interpretive Signage

Save The Interpretive Signage

I'm not sure of your stance on the commercial slip signage, but I'm hoping you can tell me how to either start a petition or contact Jordan levy to temporarily keep the large sign at the commercial slip up. Strolling down around there today for the first time really put the sign into context for me. Seeing it from afar or in pictures really didn't help convey it's meaning/message meant to replicate the facade of a building that would have been found at that period, with brick lattice work, and those panels meant to represent windows, it's really a great piece. I think we should keep it up for a few months and then sample visors and see what they think since it's really for them and not for armchair architects who feel they saw a picture and think it violates good design principles.

Anyway any help you can give me would be great. I just think once that whole area is developed the sign will be a great piece, and knowing that other, newer historical sites around the country use creative signage like this, I think it keeps us competitive/cutting edge and it shouldn't be removed until it has a chance to settle in. Thanks for anything.
