Pano’s Receives Stamp Of Approval

In order to get his project underway, Pano recently re-submitted his original plan to the City of Buffalo. After re-working the design and altering the look, it was decided that the first concept was the best… and that was the one that was approved in the end. I spoke with Pano Georgiadis, owner of Pano’s, who was very happy that the project was moving ahead. This was what he had to say earlier this morning:

“We want to make a beautiful project for the city. The Mayor was very supportive about the building, and he asked people to find a common ground, and everyone had to agree in order for this to work. We’re breaking ground before winter and we plan to be open in the spring… April or May. It’s going to be a two-storey build-out with an elevator and patios. It will be absolutely gorgeous. I’ve been in business in Buffalo for 30-years and finally we are going to move ahead with this… it’s something that will be close to a $1,000,000 investment and we’ll be employing almost 100 people who live in the neighborhood. We have a lot of hours and a lot of people working in the building now. Soon we’ll have even more. I can’t wait to finish this and make it work. The front of the building will soon be on par with the back, which was remodeled and expanded four years ago. We’ll keep adding to the restaurant to make it the best that we can.”
