The Mansion on Delaware has almost completed the design of their 'new' parking lot located directly across the street from their boutique hotel. I know that it is just a parking lot, but Mansion owner, Geno Principe, put a ton of thought into its design and function. The old gravel lot has been transformed into a pedestrian & auto friendly mini-park. Grab a bench and take a rest, enjoy the flowers planted around the lots perimeter, and reflect upon the (soon to come) water sculpture. There's a hitch however. The Mansion is looking for a local sculptor to create a visually pleasing sculpture that will reside as the focal point in this park. The electricity has been run, the patio has been poured, and now they need a sculpture. What's really great is it sounds like The Mansion has got a nice budget for the piece.
