Dancing Buffalo Cidre T-Shirt

Over the last year we've seen a couple of new Buffalo t-shirt companies hit the ground running. That's a good sign when it comes to showing support for the city. Hey, if there are more people looking to support the Buffalo t-shirt market, that has got to be a good sign. It's also cool to see some of the local shops getting into the act. Not only are the small shops carrying the Buffalo designs, they are also coming up with their own designs. Take Chateau Buffalo for example. I stopped in yesterday to interview owner Carl Schmitter (podcast to come), who pointed out his t-shirt creation. The marketing effort is an attempt to promote the regional wine shop's in-store production of a brand called Dancing Buffalo Cidre. So far the cidre has been a big hit, so it was only natural for Carl to offer his customers a fun shirt to pick up for the holidays.

The front of the shirt is really neat. It logo looks more like a wood cutout than a screen print. Architecture enthusiasts might like the etched details... this Buffalo looks as if it came right off the side of a building. Then there's the backside. The back of the shirt features a dance step to go along with the theme of Dancing Buffalo Cidre. The Chateau Buffalo logo is placed top right alongside the hoof prints. The shirt is a lot of fun and is sure to get some people talking. Pick one up the next time you're in the mood for some locally produced apple cidre... or the next time you want to get your dancing groove on.
