Coming from the daughter of one of the chosen few in Martha Stewart’s pre-fame coven, that’s a pretty steep claim. However, I confidently encourage you to taste for yourself the elixir of almost scandalous deliciousness that Scarlet is now serving in honor of Fall’s arrival – the Pumpkin Pie martini. Corinne and I serendipitously happened upon this delightful concoction last night over flights of celebratory “mini martys,” and could not have been more enthralled with the perfect mixture of Modern Spirits pumpkin pie vodka, orange liqueur, cream and maple syrup – served in a graham cracker crumb-rimmed glass. Not usually ones for the “foofie,” sweet and often-too-thick drinks of this ilk, these two tough customers admittedly couldn’t help but to go back for another round of Pat, our bartender’s, true artistry (and we may just get a few more in before Friday’s full moon!)
