We have a family cottage on Maplewood Ave. in Crystal Beach, and even though the cottage is closed, we still go up several times during the winter. We live in N.Tonawanda, and is only takes 35 min. to get there.

We regularly purchase Loganberry at some of the local super markets. It's called Cronfelt's Crystal Beach Loganberry.....and believe me, it is the real deal!!! You mix one part of Loganberry syrup, with four parts of water. (I am having some right now!!!). It is really good.

When in Crystal Beach, for an extra special treat, there are two stops that you have to make. One, is the the Lakeview restaurant, located at the old entrance of the amusement park. They have phenominal food, and the fish fry (fish & chips) is to die for. Better than LeBros!!! Also, at the corner of the street is Sneaker's tavern. They have great wraps with various ingredients that are unbelievable... But try the fish & chips at the Lakeview restaurant......it is the best fish we have ever had..... By the way, we DO rent out our cottage for some weeks during the summer.......drop us a line.....

I read your article on Buffalo Rising and want to ask you a quick question. Apparantly Tops and wegmanns no longer carry the Loganberry Syrup Concentrate. Do they still sell it in the Crystal Beach are? If so , at what stores?
