Do we know why?
With the current loft-mania going on downtown, someone else will surely snatch up that property.

I think that those dedicated towards revitalizing Buffalo should redevelop it instead. I am sure that some of us who frequent this site would love to redevelop this building. Well, lets do it. If you are interested in getting involved please email me at phillipsgm@hotmail.com and introudce yourself. Hopefully this site can evolved into a portal for community activism.
Here is the link to the CBRE listing of the property. http://www.cbre.com/NR/rdonlyres/29D9AB37-6330-4F0B-A7B8-E21C245F2EE8/321747/141Elm2.pdf
Its a shock to me that Elm Street and Elmwood do not have any Elm Trees!
Sounds ironic but youd think that a city with trees for names of so many of its prominent streets would care about landscaping and visual appeal of the neighborhood.
Sometimes the level of poverty and apathy in Buffalo is exhausting. How much could it cost to plant a tree in front of your business or home?
"Its a shock to me that Elm Street and Elmwood do not have any Elm Trees!"
well... On the money side there is Fundable.org, and I know there are tree-planting organizations, like:here, here, and here, as well as some great old original, Olmsteadian(?) tress here, all of which I found using BR.O's own search tool. Gosh, but we're not bad, are we? Nice work Figmo & Zack (& crew)
p.s.. Get Wrapped Up In Buffalo's Flag!
20 More Pledges And 12 Days To Go!
