The photography on this site used to be beautifully done and really illustrated the article, but lately it's been getting worse and worse. This looks like it was taken with a 5 year old cameraphone. In the rain. Through plastic wrap.

Will it be before Judge Joe Brown, Judge Mathis and the People's Court? I sure hope they don't break up that powerhouse of ratings...
It's about time we get a show like this in Buffalo. Other citeis have them and it really showcases the areas hidden secrets, trends and so forth. I luv watching them in NYC to get ideas on "Hot Spots" to eat, shop, sight see and more. From what I've read, it'll be simular and sounds encouraging to watch.
GDC, I agree with your comments. When I lived in NYC, I also watched NYC-TV, the channel that includes a number of shows about NYC. Mayor Bloomberg helped to provide financing and the high-production values of the programs are evident. Now that I live in California, there are two shows on public television that spotlight California's public parks and other state sites of interest. They both have an effect on tourism.
To address the upstate/downstate divide in New York state, I think a similar public television program that covers various sites throughout the state would be beneficial to all residents. (New Yorkers should really get to know each other. When I lived in Buffalo I was surprised at the number of people who had never seen the actual Niagara Falls.) New Yorkers should be exposed to all the great places throughout the state and a television program would be a good start.
I give Ms. Smothers credit for trying to do something in a community about which she cares.
"Mom always liked you best!" Seriously, way to go sista, and please have ECB & NN on your show.
