Also, don't forget to check out the City Hall tours, led by Buffalo Tours, including the observation deck on the 28th floor -- the views of all the people below in Niagara Square and along Delaware are unforgettable, as are the views along the streets and avenues which radiate out from the Square, the views (if the weather is right) of the mist rising from Niagara Falls, and even the views of the wind farm (if that kind of thing appeals to you). You can take the elevator up, or take the stairs all the way to make room for dessert!

The Taste of Buffalo was better than I expected this year. Many of the restaurants put out the same thing that they have put out in years past, but there were a few pleasant surprises that made it more worthwhile. The steak slider from Fiamma was worth the wait, as was the Sabzi from Tandori. Both sandwiches from Mobay's were awesome, and there seemed to be no lines or waiting. Try the strawberry salad from The Hamlin House, the potato chowder from Shannons and the entire menu from Fat Bob's. There were a few other items that were really tasty, but these are the one's that stood out for me and my friends.
