griff,
Doesn't that provide even more of a reason to get behind it? Maybe you'd like to jump on board and help build the increasingly popular WNY food community--we'd love to have you!

Happy Eating, Christa
Great project and what a good project to work on. It really goes to the heart of sprawl, security, the economy and the environment. Good luck and as always I will continue to put my dollars into the local farmers pockets.
Hey Christa - thanks anyway, but I'm fortunate enough NOT to live in Buffalo and in a place that has valued the local food movement for over two decades. I've got nearly 2 dozen farmers markets per week to choose from and multiple CSAs that deliver to many different neighborhoods in my city, not to mention several large public markets open 7 days a week. But, hey, all the best to ya!
there's a new magazine coming in mid july called ediblebuffalo there website is ediblebuffalo.com it deals with the same aspects as this article
once again, several years behind on this one. Buy Fresh Buy Local programs have been in place and successful for quite some time.
