I have been to Risa's several times in the past month and am always anxious to get there again. She has, without doubt, the best soups and sandwiches in the area. Try the chicken soup! And she has a special for the small appetite: cup of soup and 1/2 sandwich. Absolutely wonderful. And the service is great and you want Risa to sit down at your table and talk. It's that kind of place.
Everything I've ever eaten at Risa's has been wonderful. Whenever I have out of town visitors, I bring them here for the best breakfast in Buffalo. As far as lunch goes, I've never had a better reuben, and the matzo ball, sweet & sour cabbage and cream of tomato soup are all favorites. If you've never been here, go!
