In our defense, I have to note that offering hours here is often a bad idea. Many businesses, especially new ones, adjust their hours. Sometimes they do it a lot. BR is often the only place that local businesses can be found online; we get comments on stories that are sometimes two years old. Having the wrong business hours hanging around in cyberspace is bad news. Ask anyone that has experienced showing up at a restaurant only to find that they were closed. We suggest instead that you call ahead.

Very excited about Comfort Zone. They are very different from the other coffee-shops on Elmwood. They are very breakfast oriented - they sell Oatmeal! Where else can you go out to get oatmeal? This should be a nice boost in foot traffic for the neighboring businesses as well.

On a semi-related note.... Is there a place in the city besides the Towne to get coffee after midnight on the week-end? After seeing Jeff Dunham at Sheas a few weeks back, our group wanted to go for coffee, and found that Spot on the corner of Delaware & Chippewa was closed already....on a Friday night! We weren't sure where else we could head for a cup of joe at that time of night....we weren't really into checking out the clubs.

I agree about thirsting for late coffee or tea. There are so few coffee places in the city. Spot is hopeless...I wish this place success, but still long for a really atmospheric cafe with late hours...so hard to find anywhere.

I hear ya EricOak..... this town is really in need of another Stimulance. In it's glory, there was no place like it. Gritty and full atmosphere. Like your favorite dive bar, but switch the beer for coffee and muffins. Damn. Haven't thought about that place in a while. What ever happened I wonder? Who the hell owned that place?

Pano's used to be open until 4 AM. Don't know if that's still true though?

Glad to see them come here --- I remember when they opened the new one in Hamburg years ago when I worked at a hotel in Hamburg and how busy they got over the years...

    I want Bubble Tea too!!!!!

I hate schlepping to Sheridan when I need a fix. It's not even that good out there either.

Christa, thanks for responding, and i get your point on the hours of operation, but a link to the website (when available) would be more beneficial than the phone number.

I have never been to any of the other Comfort Zones in the area, but if they are anything like this place i don't know how they are still in business. I bought a panini from here the other day and it was the THINNEST sandwich i have ever seen in my life and they charged me 6 dollars for it. That is horrendous! I will never go back to this place again.
