Is there WIFI?
Gaustad: That lot is controlled by a Cleveland based developer with some Buffalo properties in his portfolio. He has had plans to build condos here, which is purportedly why he insisted on demolishing the Vernor. However, I haven't heard anything new in quite a while.
Congrats on the new business! Look forward to stopping in.
if not from the palce it self i think there is free wifi in the area. If I am not mistaken this place is a few doors down from the Sidway which I know has free wifi well at least I pick up some thats not locked down at my buddys crib whcih is in the sidway
This place looks great so far, wish them the best. And the empty lot across the street is an eyesore.
We need a nice condo tower right arcross the street, are there plans for that vacant lot?
I visited Chow Chocolat today for the first time - very nice! I like the ambiance and the chocolates are superb! I would put them on par with the artisan chocolates that I've had from Lesley's Life is Sweet. Exotic flavors (Coconut Curry, Habanero Mango) or just plain 64% cacao dark chocolate, they are all great. As you may tell if you visit there, they are still in the early stages of being open. There is lots of floor space left to expand into (for the baked goods, I assume). I am fortunate enough to work just blocks away, so this will be a favored lunchtime spot. (I also am beginning to notice a few other very nice new businesses opening in the same stretch of Main Street; a very welcome trend!) If you get the chance, please support them as Buffalo definitely needs more businesses like this downtown.
