Cool nice to see such large scale development.
This is great news, and I can not believe how quickly this facility was built! I remember passing by the site last Fall when the foundation wasn't even poured yet. This should one of the major initiaitves for Buffalo and once the word gets out of this success story along with CertainTeed, and Colbey Inc moving into these remediated sites ( Steelfields as well ) I believe more will follow; realistically only if the business climate is right.

Great to hear that the building will be LEED certified - fitting that it is in the shadows of the Steel Winds turbines.
What Buffalo firm recently leased/purchased what a couple MILLION SQFT of warehouse space in Rochester in the last couple of months?
THE TRUTH IS THAT BUFFALO NIAGARA NEEDS MILLIONS OF SQFT OF WAREHOUSE/DISTRIBUTION SPACE (not tens or hundreds of thousands).
THE QUESTION TO ASK IS WHAT CAN BUFFALO AND ERIE COUNTY DO TO INCENTIVIZE MORE URBAN OFFICE/LIGHT INDUSTRIAL PARKS SO THAT CONSTRUCTION AND THOSE JOBS COME TO BUFALO NIAGARA RATHER THAN NEXT DOOR TO ROCHESTER?
and fellow Buffalonians and leadership in Buffalo Niagara better consider how to spend the Seneca Casino Revenue or albany (thru state aid reductions and unfunded mandates), patronage expansion and unions will eat up all that extra revenue without a penny of taxes lowered or a penny invested into our local economy....the risk is simple the same insiders that control the government will take this money for themselves rather than share it with the average business/resident!
I like this place, are they going to have stores there? Good for the mayor.
