Sorrento couldn't have selected a better Chef to represent them. Marco is a fine chef and great businessman. I've enjoyed Marcos on Niagara for 20 years and have watched him grow his business with the help and support of his wonderful family. Good job! Good luck!

How exciting! I recently bought a house on the West Side and have been meaning to go to Marco's ever since. I better pick up the pace!

Marco's is a very nice restaurant, the Chef's father and rest of the family had much to do with their success. I view this write up with trepidation, every time Christa has made a celebrity of a local Chef, the business or person seems to experiences difficulty.

Marco and family deserve good things for the accomplishments they have made, my only hope is that their good fortune continues.

I don't know Marco's family history. I'm sure that if he had wanted to thank them in this forum he would have mentioned it to me in one of the many times that I spoke with him during the writing of this story. I think that being on national television will aid Marco in becoming a "celebrity chef" (as you put it) more than a story by me. YUM is happy that Marco and Sorrento were very excited about sharing their news and that Buffalo Rising was lucky to be the place where that announcement was made. Marco is a great guy with a real love for the city. Sorrento made a great choice. I have no doubt that Marco's good fortune will continue despite my coverage of this exciting news.
