Yes! The absolutely need to open a location downtown and deliver! They used to deliver when they were open downtown. Before the city illegally pushed them out of their location. I heard that the owner of Pho 99 had a location downtown, on Niagara Street, that he was looking to re-open, but that somehow never happened. Which is sad, because I used to eat there 3 - 4 times a week and now its too far for me to get out to. I hope more people do visit their Bailey location. My favorite was always #35 - BBQ pork, but all of their dishes are good. -cheers
I work downtown but I also take classes on South Campus - I'm glad its so close to UB. I'm gonna take my friends there as soon as possible.
I love pho! Although I had been to Pho99, thanks for the review in the new(ish) location. Sounds like the food hasnt suffered a bit.
Any of the pork dishes here are outstanding. There's really so much good food to write about at 99, it's worthy of three or four articles. If you have never been, don't let the fact that pho might not be your thing keep you from coming; everything is great and there are lots and lots of options.
Great pho. Here is another person who misses the downtown location. Hope they are still interested in finding a place.
Pho 99 has been on Bailey Avenue since before the Niagara St location closed and enjoys a steady flow of customers all day long, which the downtown location never seemed to have (although I much preferred this location). The same owners recently opened a Pho 99 Fast Food in Rochester, which makes me think they are less likely to open anything else closer to downtown Buffalo any time soon...
