I love Marco's, the subs are 2nd to none. Don Corleone is in fact tha bomb. The chili mayo is really good as well, i think they may even sell it next door at Dash's. I guess they are opening another location in the southtowns as well, however i'm sure sure exactly where or when it opens.
They're building one on Abbott Rd just south of Berg Rd. I can't wait for it to open.

Marcos is the best sub shop in buffalo. probably go there 3-4 times a month. the golf club is the best sangwich they gots.
I've been going to Marco's since they opened, in fact, we had Marco's subs for dinner tonight. I usually get the Chairman of the Board, and I have them replace the regular Mayo with the Chili Mayo. Tonight I got the Yo Rocco; it was no chairman of the board, but it was pretty good. We also pick up a few of those giant kosher dill pickles they have....MMMMMMMMHHHHHHMMMMM. Interestingly, the front window said "We serve fish on Wednesdays!" I think they must need some education on Buffalo, for we eat the fish on Fridays here.
Thanks, jfab, same to you. I had a blast; it is always exciting to meet readers and other foodies at fun events like that one. All of the delicious chocolate we sampled managed to distract me from thinking about this sandwich for the course of the weekend.
buffaloed: It's required that every restaurant serve fish on Fridays year-round in Buffalo, that's just a given. Once lent rolls around, many places also start serving fish on Wednesdays. Thus, we have the Wednesday Fish Fry. There are a handful of dedicated places that serve fish on Wednesdays and Fridays year-round.
I just went for the first time today to the one on Maple Road. The sangwich was amazing, eating it I found me self satisfied and pacified. Thank you to BR for introducing a new comer to Buffalo to such a great treat.
