This church is just a block North of there. There (meterless) parking on both sides of Elmwood, and a small parking lot on Lafayette, and street parking on Lafayette and St. James, too.

The name is "winter market," not farmer's market. Hopefully, it will expand into some of what you hope for.

Lafayette Church believes in this enough to share its space for free this winter. Come and shop and enjoy!

alo: you wouldn't believe it. There is also a log cabin and a bowling alley (sadly, its covered over) in here.

White cow diary's maple yogurt is amazing. I did a class presentation on forums for learning about the community and the benefits of buying local products and they were the star of the show! As a class, EDU416, we left a comment on the Nov 26th Buffalo Rising article, " WBFO, BRO and Local Shopping" we deemed it "date" yogurt!

ive always believed this is what we need. but i think the label is a touch off. and indoor farmers market that includes other products, well, id call that a public market - like on broadway. perhaps an all season indoor public market is really what we need in many of our commercial districts and is what this market is/should/could become.

with all the abandoned churches around town, this seems like a natural fit. large open space. generally with commercial kitchens and parking. on elmwood? well unless its north or south of the heart of elmwood, it gets tough. perhaps that firedamaged little number?

Alright RD666, sometimes a girl has to do what she has to do and hit the old stock photography file. I try to use original photos for everything, but sometimes it just doesn't work out that way. Cut me some slack, it's Christmas! ;)
