I was at this party. Great job by Uniland. Some great finishes. I can't wait to see what they will do with the first floor. It's not going to be full blown retail....maybe a quasi office/retail tenant.

The real story was Newell's shoes. BR needs to post a pic of them. Wonderful.

Have they figured out what restaurant will be on the first floor yet? It's great to see a modern spin to downtown.

Restaurant will be at the UniQuest (Uniland and Acquest) project at 200 Delaware - the space at 285 Delaware is leased with Class A office on floors 2-5. The first floor is still unfinished space that could be office or office/retail. No plans for a restaurant here. Hamilton Houston Lownie Architects won the design competition for 285 Delaware and they did an amazing job!

This is a great modern development for downtown. The fact that they sold out of office space before the project was completed should scream something to other developers.

considering how fast this space sold out...the developers were stupid not to have made it 10 stories

This is a wonderful building but what would be awesome is a modern interpretation of the Ellicott Square with an atrium...

Where are the ashtrays? No design replicative of the high-flying '60s is complete without a groaning, enormous ashtray, the kind that becomes a kind of Chia Pet of everybody's butts.
