Wasnt there a plan to built a pre/post production facility for movies and media as part of one of the outer harbor development projects.

Well, you can put me in the category that we need a major regional facility like this to serve our area and all its film, documentary, childrens productions, corporate training, music, theater, etc.

We are struggling for a new Convention & Conference Center but this pre/post production facility needs to be right behind it in funding also. Both are good investments in jobs, marketing, branding, etc.

I'd also like to add that Full Circle Studios (where I happen to work, and no, I wasn't paid to say this) has been extremely supportive of our endeavor. A lot of the equipment used in our production is from Full Circle, and the DVD (which will be available for sale next year) was authored with Full Circle's DVD Creator system. They even let us shoot one of our shorts at Full Circle ("On Productivity"). It may be awhile before Buffalo has a production facility that chris69 is looking for (as am I), but thanks to Buffalo companies like Full Circle, filmmakers like myself are getting the support we need to make films right now.

If you live in Buffalo, and you're looking to become a filmmaker, don't wait. Start making films now, and make them here!

Oh, and one last thing. The film is playing tonight (Saturday November 17th) at 7:30PM at the Riviera in North Tonawanda. We had hoped to run the film in Buffalo next week, but local theatres are already committed to studios for the big holiday releases. So we're planning a Buffalo premiere and week-long run in early 2008 (probably around February). Check out littleflick.com for more details on that.

But definitely check out the film tonight if you can. The Riviera has a brand new HD projector, sound system and silver screen. It looks and sounds great!
