So we've heard about the turnout, but was the show any good? It's great that local filmmakers are making a TV program, I hope they have the skill to make it. I've worked on a few pilots and the rate of failure is tremendous, and it really doesn't matter what big names or experienced directors you have working on the project, it's gotta stand on it's own and be solid. I'd like to see how it goes when you screen it somewhere other than buffalo. Home town pride usually clouds judgment.

Having said that, I wish them all lots of luck. I like what I've read so far.

What representatives from VH1 were in attendance ? Someone who works for VH1 or someone who works in development? What media types? Buffalo news writers, bloggers, it makes a difference. The number of things people in Buffalo try to do that gety hyped is large. First question-Who are the actors? Are they known in the TV world? If not, is the idea to sell a TV pilot with unknowns? If so, why2. How will this be marketed? 3. What networks have been approached about this? 3. Other than Buffalo where will this be screened? Why was this a private event? Wouldn't it have been better if the public was invited-isn't that a better representative than a closed event? I wish it well. It seems like it might have some big hills to get over first.
