So true about Buffalo being a Scorpio town. A friend of mine often says, "You can't swing a cat in this town without hitting a Scorpio!"

Because I'm a scientist I need to know if that has been emperically proven or is mere speculation! ; ) Since 175 is one of those nice, round numbers I guess I'm a little surprised there wasn't more of an acknowledgement from the City. That comment probably just opened the door for the bashers.

As a Taurean, I got a real chuckle out of your description. However, I only wish the city fathers would have waited just one more week or so to set the paperwork in motion. Stubborn - yes, but with that stubborness comes determination. That's what we need in our city government, not any more lawyers or hearings that rotate on one issue when there are so many others that need to be addressed and if addressed, may open other doors for success. I love Buffalo and am determined to see it succeed. If I'm a bull in the China Shop - so be it - maybe it will cause an awakening for those who need the nudge! Thanks for a terrific conceptual piece that prbably has more weight to it than others give it credit for!

bflorox - you're absolutely right - one would think this would be a year to celebrate - where is the city recognition?

As I said to a friend the other day, "Buffalo is a Taurean city: comfort food and a good parking spot."

Nice for the Sabres to deliver us a present, but honey, the astrology is crap.

And don't bother feigning indigence, you know I'd drop a comment like this.

Gee, when Buffalo was incorporated, there was no Pluto; other cultures & times have tracked different contallations; no causal mechanism for astrology has yet been proposed or supported; &c. Let it go! Or, whatever, start a blog. BR.O isn't your personal astrology platoform.
