I love the Market! Its a great place to go for lunch, read the paper, people watch,buy fresh produce, and of course the freshest meats from the friendliest butchers in Buffalo, I have friends who left Buffalo years ago and complain that nobody sells butter lambs or even knows what they are! I cant imagine having Easter dinner without a lamb on the table!

Good goodness, I miss home! I love the Broadway market and have since I was a kid :) I'm sending my sister to pick up some of the Ukranian eggs for me - I can't ask for a butter lamb, it would melt! :) THANKS BRO for the pics and the coverage of such a fantastic local market!

for Nicole's info, you can get all this stuff shipped to you overnight from redlinski's website www.buffalofoods.com the special holiday offerings--holiday fresh polish sausage with marjoram, butter lambs, etc will start being offered online on the 28th of March. Horseradish, placeks and chrucikis are available year round. Some items that won't spoil can be sent UPS ground to save money.

THANK YOU for these great photos of the Broadway Market. I grew up on Bailey Ave and we made many trips to the market especially around Easter. I can vividly remember standing in line for polish sausage, the yummy poppy seed bread, pastry hearts, and my personal favorite the chocolate and vanilla tart cupcakes. I wasn't planning on coming home for Easter, but now those pictures are making me think otherwise.
