Rock and Roller Derby
Sat, Jul 19th 2008
10:00pm47 East Mohawk Place,
Buffalo, NY
Chylde, Pink Tiger, and TH3 WHIT3 LI3S join the Queen City Roller Girls for the second annual Rock and Roller Derby.
The Queen City Roller Girls started with three radical, free-thinking, free-wheeling women who love the smell of the rink and the feel of eight wheels under their feet. Sweet Pea moved to Buffalo in April 2006 from Madison, WI where she had skated for the Mad Rolling Dolls Roller Derby League. She found Sissy Fit and Flo Torious via the Internet. Sweets, Sissy and Flo pulled their resources together and founded Western New York's first and only All-Women Flat Track Roller Derby League-The Queen City Roller Girls!
The league is now roughly 60 kick-ass women with 4 teams which include the Suicidal Saucies, Nickel City KnockOuts, Devil Dollies and the newly formed Sub-Zero Sirens!
Mini Motor Punch

Since the first official gig in October of 2003, Mini Motor Punch's highly energetic and entertaining live shows have helped them quickly become a regional favorite. Over the past 4 years, MMP has played many festivals and "high profile" events. Mini Motor Punch's unique blend of R&B/Soul/Funk induced Rock has led them to be local and main support for an array of great international artists.
Huemonxu, another great Buffalo band, opens the show.
