
In response to this morning's post on billboards, Michael Morgulis forwarded this photo of himself lounging around in front of one of his designs. He included a short blurb about the project, which appears to have been a lot bigger than I had originally thought:
Since you asked.... Here is a photo of me lounging in front of the only intact billboard left from the time I did the Billboard Project in 1982, during Buffalo's sesqui-centennial. It is on display, nicely framed, on the first floor of the Tri-Main building. There were 70 billboards in all, displayed for the month of November 1982, all around the city.
