
Buffalo's bridges, past, present and future-- their places in our community in terms of our notice of them, their functionality and design--will be the topic when Buffalo-based architect Clinton Brown, President of Clinton Brown Co. Architecture, presents a lecture, Bridge Perspectives, Wednesday November 29 at 7:00 p.m. at the Buffalo and Erie County Historical Society. Clinton Brown Co. Architecture collaboratively designs the revitalization of heritage buildings and communities throughout upstate New York. The talk will be in the auditorium of the Historical Society at 25 Nottingham Court at Elmwood Avenue. There is an admission fee of $10 for the public, $8 for members of the Historical Society.
On view at the Historical Society is a related photographic exhibit, Bridging Buffalo, which features local bridges as seen through the lens of photographer Bruce Jackson. This exhibit will continue through January 28, 2007.
