    Don't forget to save the date for the second annual Preservation Plus Conference hosted by Preservation Buffalo Niagara. The conference takes place from September 27th to the 29th at Buffalo Seminary, which was recently listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The stately building will provide a great setting for this year's conference, which takes inspiration from the National Trust for Historic Preservation's conference. Last year, the conference was a great success with 40 education and field sessions for over 150 attendees.     The Urban Homestead Program that is offered by the City of Buffalo enables qualified buyers to purchase a home that has been deemed "homestead eligible" for $1.00 and there are plenty of properties left.     Artfarms and its partner, Polish Community Center of Buffalo, have been awarded a National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) Art Works grant.
