  I'm sure the common council is aware the Great Lakes aren't saltwater. I think the idea is that a aquarium only featuring Great Lakes fauna would be boring, and wouldn't get much of a tourist draw. Lots of aquariums feature...

  Varying degrees of yes, and no. Depends on a few things such as what species of fish (fatty fish = bad), how you clean the fish (fatty tissue = bad), how much, and how many times you eat contaminated fish....

  The funny thing about the "connect the park to the neighborhoods" comments is that (if you're not in a car) the park is accessible by two other entrances. One being the (not really maze like at all) waterfront condo area...
