In the surveys, people not only said that they would shop at Urban Roots, many of them said that if it was a cooperative model (like the Lexington Coop), they would become members. At the bottom of a recent letter sent out to Friends of Urban Roots, a ballot was attached that asks supporters to help make Urban Roots a consumer co-op. (If you would like the letter - in pdf form - emailed to yo…

The Central Terminal Restoration Corporation (CTRC) seeks to fill Board of Director vacancies. The Terminal has begun to see new life, and the momentum continues to grow. Special events such as the upcoming Oktoberfest are imperative, as they raise critical community awareness issues. Restoring the nostalgic clock would not have been possible without the proper people in place to conduct the massive restorative operation.

The CTRC is a 501-C3 non-profit corporation that owns and has been preserving and restoring the Buffalo Central Terminal. They are now accepting expressions of interest in serving on its Board of Directors from members of the community.
