Pedals & Paddles: 2nd Annual Ride Along the Waterfront
This Saturday, August 13th, will mark the second annual "Ride Along the Waterfront", a 14 mile bike ride and 3 mile canoe/kayak paddle brought to you by the Black Rock Canal Park Steering Committee and the Niagara River Greenway Commission.  The bike portion of the event will begin at 9 a.m. (with registration beginning at 8am) at Black Rock Canal Park (currently the Ontario Street Boat Launch).  It will be followed by the paddle event, also launching from Black Rock Canal Park, at 10:15 a.m. with registration beginning at 9 a.m.  There will also be a Wellness Fair from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.  Proper riding and paddling attire required to take part in both events.

It’s Tour of Gardens Time in Black Rock and Riverside
It's that time again!  Time for the Seventh Annual Tour of Gardens and Fifth Annual Starry Night Garden Tour focused on showcasing gardens throughout Northwest Buffalo.  The free, self-guided event, presented by the Black Rock and Riverside Tour of Gardens Committee, will take place this Saturday, August 6th from 10am - 5pm.  The Tour of Gardens features 80 beautiful gardens throughout the Black Rock, West Hertel, and Riverside neighborhoods.

Additionally, the Starry Night Garden Tour, Buffalo's only after dark garden experience, will take place from 8pm to 10pm this Saturday,
